Microtek Pulse Oximeter

The Microtek Digital Finger Pulse Oximeter provides accurate measurements of oxygen saturation and pulse rate at a reasonable price. The manufacturer’s website does not provide accuracy specifications, but the meter has been approved by the FDA and online user comments indicate the readings this meter provides agree with the more expensive pulse oximeters found in doctor’s offices and hospitals.

The meter incorporates a large display facing away from the user, which may or may not be inconvenient, and provides SpO2, pulse rate, pulse strength readings, and a low battery indicator. With the push of a button the meter can be turned on and when set aside the meter will automatically turn off after 8 seconds of disuse. The meter is powered by two AAA batteries that provides up to 30 hours of operation, and is sold with a canvas case and lanyard to provide options for transporting and storing the meter when not in use.
